ARTFUL Weekend???

Well, were you artful this weekend? I hope so. I wasn't, it was my birthday and I celebrated all weekend but tonight - yes, the night is still young and I plan to do so art tonight. I have a few things to finish up and a few thngs I would like to start, no time like the present. So, I am off to be artful and to all a good night and a great tomorrow. Be artful.

Hope everyone had a great weekend. I certainly did. Had a great birthday, dinner out on Saturday, Sunday spent with family & friends, bbq, birthday cake - a good time was had by all.
Today, I just lazed around and enjoyed the day. That's a good holiday weekend for me.

I am so excited about this blog thing that I have forgotten about checking for comments. I see quite a few and thanks for taking the time to respond to my art and thoughts. Now I wonder if there is a way to comment back?? I will have to check it out. I am sure someone knows how to do that.

Lost days

I am thinking about the holiday weekend and commitments and I know that my art time will be limited. But that doesn't stop me from thinking about my artful thoughts. It will give me something to think about when the conversations around me get really boring!!! Too funny!!!

Well, in 2 hours my birthday will be official over. It was a good day, it's nice when family and friends remember your day. Thank you to everyone who sent wishes and love my way. Thanks to my sister for treating me to Wicked. Thanks to friends who sent artstuff and wishes, 2. Thanks to my mom for all her love and care. Thanks to for my sweetie for the beautiful neckalce and your continued love and support. I forgive you again this year for no Card, when will you guys ever get it???

Happy Birthday to Me

Yes, today is my birthday and I am feeling good about that. I am ready to embrace this coming year with family and friends, to embrace new challenges, new ideas, and anything else that comes my way. What is life all about if not embracing it all? Take time to embrace life.

I was planning on an art day but didn't get to it. That doesn't mean I was thinking about it. It's funny how when you are doing so many things during the day and then you have a flash of inspiration, a color or word and now you aren't thinking about the task at hand but what you really want to be doing. Happens to me all the time. And that is a good thing.
