My 2 all time favorite spaces in Aruba...

Well, here it is. When I wasn't strolling the island, shopping, dining al fiasco, swimming in the ocean, sunning by the pool, or daydreaming, this is where you could find me. Each and every day I spent as much time as I could sitting on a lounge letting sand slip through my fingers and thanking my lucky stars that I was right where I was at that moment. The blue lounge is at our hotel, Radisson and the yellow lounge is at Eagle Beach. What a way to spend the day.

Back from the Beach.....

Hello, everyone!! I am back from 11 days of sun and sand. There is no place like home, however, I could stand more time in the tropics. Aruba weather is perfect, high blue sky, warm winds, and hot sun. Yes, it is one happy island!! I could be one happy islander, too. Just unpacking and for 2 people I have enough laundry for 12. Between unpacking, laundry, and day dreaming about where I have been, I will be sharing some of my pictures and thoughts of this tropical vacation - which my dear husband needed badly.

If you are looking for me....

you will find me on the beach for the next two weeks. I might be lounging in the shade sipping a tall cool drink but it is more likely that I will be near the shore. I love to swim in the ocean, Carribean to be exact, and then sit in the sand and let the water lap at my toes.
Watching the waves is the only thing I have planned for the next two weeks. Oh, I do have a morning ritual, I get up early, dress for a day in the sun and go to the water's edge and greet the day. See you when I get back, ciao!!!

A cabinet card I altered for a friend in an exchange, she looks like Spring, no? I saw some great ideas on altering cabinet cards (of which I have a ton) and it has my muse jumping for joy to be creative.

April Fool's Day. I hope that no one tried to fool you, who said something about suffering the fool? I don't play 'tricks' today, I don't like when others do it to me so I know that it always isn't appreciated.

I have been busy, getting ready to take a couple weeks vacation in the sunny and warmer climates on this planet. Spring in the Midwest has been really hit or miss, sunny one day, thunderstorms the next and it snowed one day and there was thunder!??!?!? The weather man called it thundersnow, I did not find that funny at all.
