Series of Art for Inspire Me Thursday. I read the article by Misty Mawn about textured backgrounds for collage in current Cloth,Paper,Scissors. I was so awestruck with the technique I had to try it for myself. It was wonderful and fun. Misty is right, you can't stop layering, painting and stamping.

The textured bacground looks very wonderful in the larger version - lots of depth and detail. the colors you chose have an icy blue beauty. It looks like you really enjoyed it! I ordered a copy of CPS by mail beacuse I couldn't find it around here - I'm looking forward to reading Misty's article:>
